Cheap n’ Easy Vase revamp.
I made a trip to Ikea last week and was struck by this cool “OVÄNTAD” vase that was on sale for $2.99. I could not resist. I loved the shape–and even liked the color–but it was just a bit to bland for the Jungalow. So I took the leftover Duct tape from my lamp project, and cut out strips with pointed tips (this time using a craft knife), and covered the entire vase in duct tape, layer by layer. The revamp took about 20 minutes and the colors really pop. For $3 I think that these would make fun, affordable vases for centerpieces for parties–customizable with your party colors–yes? The possibilities are endless!
