lush
My life is lush right now. It’s a good thing. I am so grateful–but being a working mama (as I’m sure many of you know) is a total balancing act. There is hardly a time when I don’t feel like I’m neglecting *something* and much of the time I feel like I’m being pulled in five different directions at once. My priorities are with Ida and Jason but I love my work, too. That’s one reason why last week, when I received mentions by Refinery 29 the Huffington Post and West Elm–and then I was nominated for a Homie Award on Apartment Therapy I was overcome with joy and satisfaction. Somehow this is all working itself out–and I think it’s OK to say that I’m pretty damn proud of myself. Thank you all for being here for me in this fun but sometimes dizzying time of growth and learning.
