I love the way scarf curtains look–I use scarf curtains in my Jungalow–only I use the white, fringy, crocheted kind. These colorful, patternful ones look great especially when the rest of the room is pretty simple and white. These scarf curtains add a Gypsy-style pop of color and pattern that feels playful and airy. They are fun to make, (and you can usually find lots of vintage scarves on Ebay). And if you’re not in a DIY mood, I just came across these by Babylon Sisters on Etsy. They’ve got some fun colorways to choose from and they’ve got both shower curtains and window curtains in stock. Tempting, yes?
Would you use upcycled scarves as curtains in your home?

I love these curtains and would hang them in a heartbeat. In our bedroom I have shawls, table cloths, and doilies hanging from my curtain rods. Love the look. Just wore my blouse I made of scarves the other day. Scarves are the best.

I so love the idea of a scarf curtain, but I can’t think of a single scarf I own which I would be willing to sacrifice…bit of a dilemma I guess :-)
