Who knows, maybe it’s because I’m biracial that I like mixing styles so much. Or maybe because coming up with funny names for style amalgamations (remember Scandibo?) is just way too fun. This time, I’ve come up with a style I like to call Zenclectic Modern. It’s a zen-inspired space that is more eclectic with modern elements and lots of color too–where as normally, I find that ‘zen’ spaces tend towards minimal, usage of light colors, lots of woods and stone. This is kind of a playful take on that idea–but I love how eclectic this imagined room is, and I think that I would find this a relaxing and inspiring space to hang, relax and think about my own personal enlightenment. :D
