Ashley Brown, student at Otis College of Art and Design, designed this block-printed cake in her printmaking class. I decided to combine a couple of the categories on our blog for this post because you can learn how to make the cake at ReadyMade, and as a chef and artist myself, I’m loving Ashley’s work and creative combination of food and art! This is one technique I’m definitely planning to play with.

If I were a liquid, I’d be beer.
If I were a gemstone, I’d be matte as opposed to shiny and sparkling.
If I were a color, I’d be navy blue.
If I were a spice, I’d be cilantro.
If I were a scent, I’d be seafood.
Oh Ass, Cilantro is a herb not a spice.
