Our book 99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Tie and Rock your Scarf came out a couple of years ago– just enough time for Couture labels Hermes and Prada to catch on to the trend.
Hermes just launched a new site: www.jaimemoncarre.com where they show very boho Compai-style how-to’s about how to rock your scarves. And the 2010 Prada Resort Collection– definitely made from scarves, no? The book has tons of ways to wear your scarf as-is- or to cut and sew it up into skirts, dresses, tops, and even bags VERY similar to the styles pictured here.
Now you may now wanna cut up that Prada or Hermes scarf (and I don’t blame you!) — but I’m sure you’ve got a few random scarves in the back of your closet begging to be rocked in a whole new way.
