We’ve been doing it since we were kids, and we still love cutting up our T-shirts! Here’s a new design (not published in our book 99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Tie and Trim your T-Shirt.) This design is easy to do, it should only take you about 10-15 minutes, and best of all, you don’t need to bust out the sewing kit…just a pair of scissors.
You should use a medium sized t-shirt on this one. Have fun and happy upcycling!

Cut off neckline, sleeves and hem
Step 2
Cut thin arching slits from shoulder though sleeve, leaving the armhole and sleeve ending seams in tact. Slits should go through front and back of tee.
