Obsessed, Naturally

Wow, I’m all over the place this week! One minute I’m loving pink, the next I’m vibing with natural creams and browns… but I guess that’s how it goes when one’s job consists of staring at images all day…
I’m loving all of these images right now… not just because of the feeling of relaxation that the colors exude, but because all of these pieces have me inspired for some weekend DIY projects that don’t seem too daunting….
1. Recycled Leather journals at Cartshed
I could see making some notebooks like this from an old denim or leather jacket.

2. Terrarium by Litill
An old fishbowl, some sand and foliage, and some tiny, tiny hands might do the trick here.

3. Paper Machier Bowls by Cecilia Levy via Burrs and Berries 
Newspaper, scissor, starch and a lot of patience…

4. Stunning necklaces by The Vamoose
With some fabric remnants, an old chain and some vision and talent one may be able to approach a neckalce inspired by that of the Vamoose…

5. Doily Bedspread from the adorable Sweet Paul
I have about 100 doilies leftover from our Doily Bag from the Refashioned Bags book— now here’s a wonderful idea of what to do with them…

6. The Burlap Pendant lamp by Terrain
Remember the lamp shade I recovered last week in wallpaper? Well, she has a little sister ;-)

7. Calendar by Enzo Mari
Some old rulers some paint, and a bit of help from my next-door-neighbor the carpenter, I I might have a DIY version of this Mari caplavoro.
