The fact that I’ve never posted about Otomi Embroidery is mind boggling because I think if I were to die and come back as an folksy/crafty art form, this would likely be it. The colors, the animals, the ethnic/handmade vibe and the nod to Jungalow makes Otomi Embroidery seriously me. Here are some of the more gorgeous pics I could find.
1.) Fabric samples 2.) How ’bout this armchair? 3.) Or this ottoman 4.) Perhaps this happy yellow bedspread is more your steeze? 5.) If not, I know you’ll love the accent pillows. How could you not love the accents pillows (found via Coco and Kelley).
I’m Loving it all. How about you?

Do you know anywhere in LA that sells them for not a million dollars? I am kicking myself for not buying one or two earlier this year when I was in Mexico. (PS: I was so excited to go to your studio shindig but then had to work…boohoo! Maybe you’ll do something again soon?)

@Rebecca, Yes! We plan to do more events in the coming months! I wish I did know of a place to get the Otomi fabrics for a more reasonable price, sometimes they pop up at markets, but not very often. I will be sure to update you if I come across anything on my hunts!
