So, my little principessa is an anti-fashionista. If she had it her way she would be wearing hand-me-down everything in pink velour. If it’s comfortable and pink she is all about it. Unfortunately, her mother AKA me, had other plans for her. I have been collecting clothing for her for about the past 10 years (keep in mind she is not yet 5 :). When she was born she inherited a suitcase full of gorgeous vintage clothing and the collection has continued to expand ever since. I am only now coming to terms with the fact that she will NEVER wear any of these lovely pieces. SO, I have decided that before I let this amazing collection of clothing drift back into the universe (or put them on sale on our on-line store :), I will photograph her in these lovely vintage finds, much to her chagrin.
This particular trench was purchased in Paris at a flea market and gifted to her by her Tanta Kiki (Kira Lillie), and the shoes, well, that was her own special touch!

Hah! YES! What is up with that?! My daughter is about to be three, and suddenly poof – she will only wear pink fuzzy pants. Ever. I can order anything I want, she won’t even try it on (unless it’s pink and velour). Every year, we spend two months in France and I inevitably come home with intriguing little French kid outfits she won’t wear. So I let it go and stick with battling over weather-appropriate.
But! The Paris Trench Coat! ME TOO! Oh, fashionista baby, we hardly knew ye!
