This is a portrait of me done by one of my best friends Sarit Melmed, who recently began a beautiful blog, Empress Saritinsky. Check out her sketches and see her portraits of my man, and my bro too.
Now, about the fourth edition of Style.Play.Work.Shop:
Deadline: Tuesday, January 4th, 2011
Objects: Coffee table with something alive (plant, flower, cat), something meant to burn, and remnants of a hobby (books, movies, knitting needles, coloring books, whatever you do to relax)
Notes: This is more about styling for your home and less about styling for a photograph, let’s see how you live!
Upload your photos to the flickr group by the deadline, and if you haven’t joined in yet, sign up!

Loving the portrait of you and will have to check out Sarit’s work! Just moved out most of my stuff, hence no coffee table:-). Will check out the flickr group though. XX

How beautiful, both the portrait and the gesture from your friend. I love the colours used, the free-hand sketch style, the bricks behind you and your expression. Do you see yourself in this picture?
Interesting criteria for the next workshop, especially as everyone’s can vary so much with them being such broad options. Should be interesting to see! :)

@Stacey Yes! thanks for stopping by and do check out the flickr group, maybe when you settle in you will join us for the workshop.
@Raine and Sage: I do seee myself in the portrait, although my features seem smaller than my true features– but the spirit of the portrait? Totally me! As for the next SPWS– we wanted to keep it broad, and give people a chance to really get creative. I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with too!
@Sarit I love you too chupps!
