Hello my friends. I have to admit Je suis un peu fatiguée. I could not forsee how tiring it would be to move homes, start a new job, keep up the blog and continue with my design practice. I’m sure I will get into it soon– but this week has been a challenge for sure. But worry not dearies, the blog is always at the top of my list. Some need yoga, others a cocktail– but the blog is my thing– so we’re here to stay. On that note I can’t believe I let a week go by without showing you all some snapshots from my new place. It is indeed beginning to get all cozy, and with this somewhat gloomy weather LA has been having, my man and I have been totally getting into our new fireplace. You can expect to see a lot more color coming soon, as this weekend we are painting the bathroom and the living room– as they say in Italian Pian Piano Slowly, slowly we will get it all together.
Thanks for the love and support y’all and I’ll see ya tomorrow!
xx

Perchance…where did that banana palm print come from? I’ve been searching and searching to no avail. Is it wallpaper? Contact paper? Magical-yet-elusive-to-me paper?
Thanks!

@LD the leaf paper was a super lucky find at a little vintage shop. Kinda struck gold. however since I’m obsessed with banana leaf wallpaper, I happen to know that you can get it here as well: http://www.creativewallcovering.com/pc/22ws-ww327/woodsstonesjulianscott/Banana+Leaf+Cork+Wallpaper.html

what a beautiful, stylish home you have. excellent use of pom poms. I really like how you displayed the enamel pins– a great idea for showcasing them when not used and also since I’m always displaying knick knacks, I think coloring the shelf is a good idea.
can’t wait to see more from you. would really like to see if you had fashion tips based on your design experience/aesthetic.

Nice! it’s taking shape. Hope the new job is going well – I just saw the plethora of Wooly pockets that Jamie Durie put in his back yard on tv the other day.
