I got home from work yesterday evening to find a brown box with my name on it on my door step. “Yes!” It was a package. As I ran my key across the tape the open up the box, I was insanely surprised to find this heart hole punch which has lead me to believe that Erin Loechner, really is one of the sweetest gals online. Thank you for my sweet birthday prezzie, Erin!
I’ve been contributing to Erin’s witty, cool blog Design for Mankind for three months now. My column is called “Two face” and I post two contrasting faces each week. Today, I thought it would be fun to post the first 9–almost like a gallery show, or a retrospective or something. Head over there again today to see #10 — the new Two-Face column for today. It’s pretty cool. Promise.

I also wanted to take a second to give a shout out to Dabito from Old Brand New. First of all, I fell in love with his blog from my first visit. He is subtle, really funny, candid, humble and super creative. I love his style, and he has such a great eye. He started working with me this week at Woolly Pocket, and I seriously couldn’t not be happier.
I love it when my online life and my real life collide- so both of these presents, my little Birthday gift from Erin, and getting to work with Dabito remind me of how grateful I am for this amazing online community that we have created, and that we continue to build– so THANK YOU! And I look forward to many more creative collisions, both online and off in the future!
Happy Firday.
xoxo
