Buongiorno Lovlies!
So today I thought I’d switch it up from the normal Dressed Myself Tuesday and show you a few pics of a house I recently dressed :)
Since I moved to LA from NY 2 years ago I have been diving into the wild, wild world of Interior Design. I have done some commercial, some hospitality – but my passion in residential. So, when my beloved parents moved back to Cali after 10 years in Europe I jumped at the opportunity to do up their abode!
They are renting for now, so we didn’t think it wise to invest too much money in the place- which made it a super DIY extravaganza- my favorite kind! Lots of re-upholstery, thrift store finds, painting . . . The request was Fall colors, with Mid-Century furniture mixed in with some pieces that make the place feel homey and welcoming (cause the Mid-Century stuff can be a little cold). Along with my partner in crime; the fabulous Jean, we transformed this humble shack into a lovely little haven.

Wonderful job! I LOVE the view into the kitchen, as framed by that steaming orange wall (by far my favorite color) as well as the credenza in the dinning nook…such a lovely mix! What I am tickled by is the way in which the home seems loved, lived in, warm, and accessible, though newly “done”–it seems a true reflection of it’s inhabitants!
Ps. Serge melts my heart, among other things!
Wow. IO have seen the “live redecorated” and it is really even more wonderful than the photos..It is a home designed to fill the needs and personality of its owners and between you you have creeat4ed a place to live, love , study and be at peace with the world. Kudos Faith….

That humble shack was known by many in LA as The Lodge while I was residing there. Great job! I should have had you make it over when I was living there.
