I found these amazing prints (there were 2 of them) while thrifting in Santa Barbara a little while back. I thought they were a little pricey at the time at $40 bucks each (I can be so cheap while I’m thrifting, like anything over $20 seems expensive.. does that happen to you, too?) and so I didn’t buy them.
(Now, of course, I deeply regret my not having ‘splurged’ on these beauties, but at least I had decent bloggers’ instincts and took some close-up shots of them.)
The bright yet subdued colors, the folksy vibe, the palm trees, the water and snow-capped mountains in the distance– they are everything I want my weekend to be! And now I must end this post, for the more time I stare at these photos, the angrier I get at myself for not having spent the $80. Oh Well.
Have a great weekend, friends. I hope you get a chance to have some beautiful adventures.

i love the way the plants are depicted. i gotta admit, kinda bummed you didn’t snag this one but i understand the hesitation. over $20 and its not furniture, i get a moment of shock. i did buy this rad framed linda ronstadt picture record once that was like $24. i was all sick after. what did i do?! now i have it up and its one of my favorite treasures. the chick is wearing skates. so worth it. :)

Darn, you should have bought them – lovely colour and detail! Ah, well I guess that means you’ll just have to spend this weekend on some thrifty adventures to find some more ;)

Me too! The more I get used to spend 2-5 euros on really beautiful dresses, the less I want to spend on them! But I think I feel really satisfied only when I think I got a little treasure for nothing…paying the right price would be too easy!
