I’m a huge fan of bold clashing color and contrasting patterns, so it’s no wonder that I fell in love all over again with Mexican arts and crafts this trip. I’ve had a thing for Otomi embroidery forever and although I didn’t purchase any this time around (it was VERY tempting but VERY pricey) I did find some beautifully boho bowls with florals and dots and these ceramic/metallic owl paperweights that make me smile every single time I look at them. I also have added that ceramic animal skull that is kinda like Frida meets Georgia at Anthropologie that I can’t wait to hang in my green kitchen.
It’s pretty hard to find cool or older stuff (antique) in Cabo, so I had to sift through quite a bit of crap to find these goodies, but now that I have taken them out of the touristy ‘flea market’ context and into my home I am very excited. I’ll show you all more pics once the good are integrated into the collection at the house.
The lower three pics are from art pieces that I took photos of in the store, but didn’t buy.
Traveling is by far what brings me the most inspiration to make. What inspires you most?

Those boho bowls are lovely, Justina. Travelling inspires me, too, the sights, sounds and smells of a new place can’t be beaten.
