Yes, after 10 years away from UTOPIA I finally had the opportunity to return to the most mind blowing festival in the world- BURNING MAN. I got back this morning, parched, burnt, mad dusty and totally blissed out.
For those of you who have never heard of, or attended this event you should know that this is much more than a festival. It is an intentional community- 54,000 people strong this year (it was SOLD OUT for the first time in 25 years). It is an opportunity for total , pure love and self-expression.
This trip blessed me with many revelations about friendship, community, love, loss and spirituality.
My personal mantra for the week was- and shall remain “FOLLOW YOUR BLISS”! So, what is your bliss???

I’ve always wanted to go to Burning Man… everyone I know in California, as well as outside of California (Vermont!) have gone and LOVED it. They come back blissed out, as well. Being an artist soul, I’ve thought that it would be the most amazing experience, but could never convince my non-artistic significant other (back then) to go…. some day…. {sigh}
