Faith and I headed out bright and early to the Rose Bowl Flea yesterday. In prep for the fall we saw a ton of cozy blankets and rugs.
I fell in love with the HUGE dreamcatcher above.
These reupholstered Ikat chairs were a good buy at $600 for the pair. And this chesterfield couch wasn’t in the best condition, but with a bit of TLC could have been darling in the right context.
These life-sized toy soldiers were very sweet, perhaps for a child’s room, and Faith snatched up this “They’re Playing our Song” print.
This 70’s textile/canvas thingy came home with me.
Here it is in my bedroom.
More to come–I hope you all had a fun weekend! Any fun thrifting or good finds?

@peggy Thank you! You should definitely hit it up!It’s the highlight of my month!
@freefalling — i love the birch trees part too– totally my favorite element of the art piece..
@anna I didn’t right it bu the Kilim was $600 – just a touch outside my price-range– it was STUNNING.
Lovely! There’s nothing like finding a new (old) piece for your home. I love the canvas painting thing you found… it looks fab in your room! Those warm oranges and reds are perfect in there!
I love that white Chesterfield! I wish I could’ve bought it and fixed it up. Don’t think it would’ve fit through our doorway here, though. Houses and buildings built in the Victorian era have such narrow doors and hallways! Ugh.
What a lovely room! Just discovered your blog, it’s wonderful! Best, -nome
