Since I lived in Italy for so many years, I have a thing for colanders (strainers? what’s the difference?) We ate pasta literally every single day and when ever the pasta was boiling, and ready to be taken off the stove, it seemed the the colander would magically disappear. Needless to say, eating that much pasta I acquired quite a few colanders and so I thought I’d do a little inspiration board on what to do with some of the old ones. Love the pendant lamp idea. I feel like in a very mod/pop kinda kitchen it would look adorable. That cactus/strainer in the bottom left image is at my house. And since I know someone will ask….I just take it outside when I need to water it. Also, how cute is the hanging planter idea? I love how they used a hanger as the hook.
Happy upcycling, folks!
