If you have a lot of ‘stuff’ you’re always trying to figure out ways to organize and store your goods in ways that keep them accessible, organized and visually pleasing–here a couple of cheap, easy and space-saving ways to store items in your bathroom and on your desktop. I store my makeup on this tiered platter from Ikea ($14.99). This way, I can see what I have to work with (unlike if it was all in a drawer or a makeup bag) and it saves counter space because of the levels.
On my desk, I use a vintage vanity tray like these (starting at $12.00) to keep all of the odds and ends from my desk all in one spot. Its adds a nice little shine to my desk area too and helps to keep the rest of the desk free for my computer or other projects.

Pretty! I love Bare Minerals makeup so much. The coverage is awesome and it feels so light. Where did you get the glass container on the right in the bottom picture? It’s so neat, almost like a terrarium. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s a flea market find ;)
@Nicole – I love bare escentuals minerals makeup too–it also helps that my best friend, Sole is one of their national artists so I get gifts now and again, too :) The little faceted glass jar was a thrift find– but surprisingly they’re not too hard to find– I have found lots of them over the years– and yes, they make great terrariums!
