Call me crazy, you’re not the first and you certainly won’t be the last–but I feel as though there is something very, very cool about these vintage Paint by Number paintings. It’s weird I know.

Not crazy! They are awesome! There’s something about the colours, can’t quite put my finger on it…
The last one would make a great cross-stitch proyect!
I’m totally with you Justina. I think there’s something so cool about them. A little on that fine line but I’m on your side of things. I became quite taken when I saw Maya’s post here. http://www.completely-coastal.com/2010/08/paint-by-number-for-vintage-art.html Hope you’re feeling well. Take care. Pruxxx
oh, neat! Thanks for the link–it’s a great article.
of course vintage paint by numbers are awesome. I saw the coolest one once, it was from the 50s and was a picasso reproduction. My friend Elizabeth had one that her own father had painted in as a teen before going on to become a pretty well-known illustrator in his area. maybe the paint by numbers is what started it all?
I love these – so nostalgic! And I love, love, love your posts – every one of them….and I love that you’re a fan of Game of Thrones!!! Hurry up, Sunday!
I am actually obsessed with vintage paint by numbers! My mom has a bunch of them in our summer house and I love the kitschy feel.
There is such serenity in their simplicity…very peaceful and beautiful. Thanks Frances Pizzino
