Grilling green….. Avocado hors d’oeuvre or snack!
This super quick and easy recipe is a fun take on a old classic. Its summer and my grill is always on and adds tons of flavor to the avocado. I love serving this alongside a ceviche for a heartier meal or on its own for a light lunch or a late afternoon snack. In just four easy steps this dish is a stunner and could not be simpler.
What you’ll need:
Ripe but not too soft avocados
Jalapeño or any spicy pepper
What you’ll need to do:
Place a large handful of cilantro along with half a jalapeño, the juice of one lime, four tablespoons olive oil, and a pinch of salt in a blender and blend until smooth. In the meantime heat your grill or grill pan on high. Cut avocados in half and place on the grill until slightly warm and chard. Serve right away, drizzle with dressing, cilantro leaves, chili slices, and sea salt.
