I am not a huge coffee drinker, but every once in a while I get a craving for an Iced Greek Frappe.
On a hot day there is nothing better than this sweet, creamy and cool drink. As usual it is super easy and can be designed to your liking. Once you go frappe you will never go back! (Yes even you coffee snobs! instant coffee has never tasted so good)
What you will need:
-H2O
-Sugar
-Milk
-Ice
-Instant coffee (you can use American instant coffee, but you might have to slightly adjust your portions, if you want the real deal you can buy the Greek Nescafe here )
What you will need to do:
In a shaker or a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine 1 inch cold water, two spoonfuls of instant coffee, 3 ice cubes and sugar (2 teaspoons is metrios, or medium-sweet; 3 teaspoons is glykos, or sweet). Put on lid and shake for at least 30 seconds, until very foamy. Pour into glass and top off with cold water, add milk if desired. Serve with a straw and enjoy!!

I’m a Frappe-aholic. When I’m in Greece I drink about 5 of these a day.
