Kelly here from viva voce and I’m stepping in while Justina relishes her time with the brand new Boomba – can’t wait to meet her!
Earlier this year, I collaborated with Justina on her wedding flowers – LUCKY ME! So staying with the floral theme, I created a… well – a little flower project. Here’s a piece inspired by one of my favorite artists, Georgia O’Keeffe. This particular artwork called Red Canna reveals folds upon folds of magnificent reds, oranges, violets and yellows, plus a powerful and assertive beauty that really grabbed me. I picked up various blooms ranging from zinnias, marigolds, echinacea pods, balsa flowers, scabiosa pods, air plants and chamomile to play with. I hung the floral piece, quite like a painting in it’s own right, and then of course had to style it with an infamous rams skull to really signify the Georgia O’Keeffe motif! Thanks for having me Justina!

I just blogged about Georgia O’Keeffe yesterday! Well, the whole of Santa Fe and the O’Keeffe museum actually. One of my favourite cities and artists. Thanks for this lovely post!
