Although Summer is officially over in this part of the word, I think that this is one of the best times of year to hook up your patio. A lot of the summer/outdoor gear is on sale and (at least here in LA) we still have a couple of months of nice weather to enjoy our outdoor spaces. When putting together an outdoor space, I always like to include a lot of graphic pieces–it contrasts well with the organic plants and natural surroundings. Add pops of color and natural textures like wood and clay, and use the ceilings, walls or tree branches to hang fun things, like bird feeders, hammocks and lanterns from. How pretty are those butterfly mats? I think I want about 5 or 6 for my garden!
Hammock $80
wooden table
butterfly mats $57 (each)
Bird Feeder
Planter $17
smaller planter $14
butterfly chair $75

How funny! I just bought that Mad Mat from the second and third photo. They are pretty awesome, and made from recycled plastic

I love that hammock and that blue and white outdoor matting really sets of the garden well. It’s a really nice feature and helps to make that garden look more inviting and like a proper seating area.
