Hammocks and High Tea Giveaway

We’re in for a treat today, as JB readers and JB Pinterest followers will have a chance to win this Lattice Print Pillow from Hammocks and High Tea‘s Fall Collection.  I’ve been a fan of Karen’s work for a while. Her line caught my attention a few years back, especially after reading that the name Hammocks and High Tea comes from the combo of Caribbean and British cultures that influence her aesthetic. Love that!

So here’s what you do to win.  
1. Be a Follower of the JB blog (scroll to the bottom to join) and checkout the whole Hammocks and High Tea collection
2. REPIN this image to one of your Pinterest boards with the hashtag #jbandhightea
3. Then come back here and leave a comment with your Pin’s URL. For a second entry, leave a comment here naming two cultures that inspire your aesthetic.

    Two cultures that I am influenced by are Moroccan culture and West African culture which I like to incorporate into my jewelry designs.

    Two cultures that inspire me:

    The Danish – The current aesthetic of open, clean and modern is just wow.

    The Spanish – Just love the old Spanish/Moroccan asesthetic.

    And for a second entry- I would have to say that two cultures that strongly influence my aesthetic would be African- specifically Ethiopian as well as Scandinavian and Danish design. But, one of my studies and interests has always been Cultural Anthropology, so it’s VERY hard to pick just two influences out of the thousands of past and present cultures!!

    And for my second entry… I’m often inspired by West African style, specifically Ghanaian, in both dress and home decor. After living in the country for a while, the colorful batiks and large beaded jewelry became staples in my wardrobe. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I’m also inspired by the clean/basic style and design of Scandinavia!

    I’ve been following you and your awesome pins ever since I joined pinterest!! I’m on my phone so I couldn’t get the link by I repinned to my “sharing the love”board by Beadingbyjenn. I hope this still counts as an entry? I couldn’t tell where to put the #,so I did it on the comment spot!
