Make your bed.

At the risk of some folks questioning my taste level, I’m gonna go ahead and declare my love of chenille bedspreads. To those of you that know me well, this will come as no big surprise. I love pompoms and I’m a big fan of terrycloth–and chenille bedspreads are a cousin to them both. While admittedly, the crazy colorful ones that often boast peacocks and bows are a little to over-the-top even for a maximalist like me–the monotone ones with lots of textures and fun trims will *make* your bed. Yes?

    I totally do too. I still have my hot pink one full of pom poms from when I was a kid. Right now I have a white one with shams on my bed, I love it. Got it at a garage sale for 4 dollars. If you like I will post a picture and come back and share?

      I think my mother called this pattern George Washington. I have #5 in white . My parents were married in 1954.

    I’m loving number 5 and 6 – they’re gorgeous. I recently thrifted a single bed sized plain cream chenille blanket. I’ve got no where to use it, but just had to have it cause I’ve never ever come across one at the thrift shop before!!
