It’s been a wile since I’ve gotten dressed up, put a little makeup on and a pair of heels. Now that I’m no longer pregnant I’m in this weird stage where I don’t fit the clothes I wore during my pregnancy, but I can’t quite get into the clothing that I wore before either–plus, the breast-feeding creates one more layer of dressing-difficulty. A friend suggested that I get zippers put in to all of my muumuus–to make the dresses breast-feeding friendly, and while I thought that was an ingenious solution, I love my muumuus too much to add zippers.
Enter the kimono. When I first laid eyes on this kimono from theĀ Blue Moon collection I knew I had found an item that I could feel pretty in, breastfeed, and fit into–no matter how little or big I was. These are my favorite kinds of pieces, just throw it on top of any old thing and feel instantly glam.
