Put a bird on it! {Chirpify!}

As a big instagrammer, I often glide through my feed and something catches my eye: an amazing chunky, turquoise ring from Gypsy River, or one of Yokoo’s crazy knit-chain necklaces, for example.

When this happens, I ‘like’ their pic–sometimes I even comment. But wouldn’t it be really cool if I could buy these indie goods without leaving the platform?
Enter Chirpify. 

Don’t ask me where they got their name–but their service is kind of amazing. Chirpify makes it possible to buy, sell and even donate on Twitter and Instagram without ever leaving the platforms.

How does it work? As a seller you just create a listing in Chirpify‘s dashboard–and as a consumer, all I’d have to do to buy is @reply (Twitter) or comment (Instagram) with the word “buy” to purchase the item. (You can watch this video to see how it actually works and how easy it is.)

With all of the new platforms and social shopping thingys and out there now, I appreciate a tool that actually makes things more simple as opposed to more complicated–and uses platforms I have already built audiences on. I may even try to sell a few things I’ve had in my closet for a while now that just don’t fit anymore–(hey zaftig ladies, keep your eyes out on my feed for my pretty old dresses!)
