One of the first things that I noticed when I arrived in Copenhagen was the hardware. The door knobs, and door handles, the mail slots, thee light fixtures, and yes–the faucets–all of the hardware here looks carefully contemplated and perfectly placed. Before we left for Copenhagen, Jason and I had started leisurely house-hunting. Even in the houses that were wildly outside of our price range, the details of the homes–especially things like hardware, looked like a total afterthought. I think that these small details can make such a huge difference in a home, do you agree?
