Just a few things that caught my eye on Etsy this week–love everything on it’s own but somehow as a collection I’m really feeling it.

Helpful Hint**I get a lot of emails from Etsy sellers asking to be featured here and so I thought it worthwhile to mention that 99% of the Etsy items that I feature on the blog are photographed on a white background–it makes it much easier for me to do the layout–so if you’re interested in having your items featured on blogs, I recommend having at least one image of your work on a simple white background.

These look amazing together, great round up!
Also, I spend waaaaay too much time with the select tool for round ups… white backgrounds are AWESOME.

Love your advice to Etsy sellers! That’s so true! Sometimes you want to feature an item, which is actually great, but you don’t because of the background.

Somehow I had an idea that your hint would be photographing your products with a white background! Personally, I think shooting on a white background can be a little tricky, but I do think the time and effort to figure out how to take a great shot (sharp focus, realistic colors, natural lighting, etcetc) is totally worth it! Great advice, thank you!
