Good morning friends. I am really excited for today’s post as many people asked what I was working on for six weeks in Copenhagen–and here is the answer! I’ve created a Copenhagen shopping guide that focuses on THE BEST small design shops around the city. Copenhagen is not a big city, but has a lot of different enclaves and for travelers visiting for only a few days—it would be very difficult to discover these little gems that are sprinkled throughout Denmark’s capital. With a spotlight on up-and-coming designers and makers, vintage shops and gallery-like boutiques, this guide will take you off the beaten path.
This is a fun guide to look through even if Cph is not your next travel destination. Full of inspiring design and decor ideas, my goal is that this shopping guide makes you feel as though you’re walking (or biking) along the streets of Copenhagen yourself coming up on all these magical little design shops. I hope you enjoy it and pass it on to your friends who may be visiting one of my favorite cities in the world.
Now the only question is…what city should be next?
A HUGE thank you to my gracious hosts in Cph, Mary and Jim, and to the lovely shops that sponsored this guide: Burke Decor, Vuela Boutique and The Little Black House.
Here is a direct link to the guide.

Having recently moved to Copenhagen with my designer husband, this is really helpful! A good excuse to go exploring and see what secrets we can find. Having also just started my own blog on life in Copenhagen – alexfw.com – it’s great to see something so inspiring!
Thanks, Alex

Well, Copenhagen is not that small after all. Yes, the central of Copenhagen isn’t that huge, but there are also West Copenhagen, where our small erotic shop is located. You should stop by for a cup of coffee sometime :)
