This momma does not like shopping for swimwear. Yuck. Every year, the same ol’ same ol’. I need different sizes on the bottom than on the top. The cup runneth over (if you know what I mean) on every single suit I put on. The suits that look chic on smaller women look down right skanky on me. If I go in the ocean I end up flashing the entire beach my big bazoongas when the tops fly off or up. And after one summer of jacuzzis and pool-time, the suits are pilly, stretched out and done for. Sound familiar?
(Jason thought I needed a cool-down ’cause I was feeling a little *too* hot in my new suits!)
Well this year, I couldn’t me more excited to have found Albion-a great site for women’s fitness and swimwear–plus the fact that vintage swimsuit styles are in style right now is really working for me. I got size XL. At first I didn’t think they were going to fit and I had to wiggle a little to get the suits on–but once they were on they fit SO well–and they actually HOLD ME IN. I think that because they also make workout clothing, the suits are more substantial and durable than other suits I have. I’m also stoked the the straps are adjustable. Makes a big difference. The styles that I got make me feel good about myself-I feel like they highlight my (hem-hem) assets and distract from the parts of my body that I feel more self-conscious about. I can’t believe it’s only June 1st and I’ve already solved my summer swimsuit conundrum. That’s a first.

Sorry I didn’t give you any feedback on you last post. I think your design skills are great, and that you have an eye for retro, vintage and color that looks and feels somewhat Etno/Scandinavian/Mediterranean. So I would guess that like me, a lot of Scandinavians like the style cause it feels familiar.
But mostly cause I’m hour glass shaped as well, not so zany and zaftig yet but still… so seeing how you style your vintage pieces and your jewellery is fantastic! I have curls to and want my hair to grow longer like yours :) So to sum this long comment up, just continue as always cause that’s what makes me want to come back to your blog.

I have the same problem- so I wear a bikini top in matching (or coordinating) colour under my swimsuit so i get proper support. Here in the UK Bravissimo make swimtops that are as good as bras. These look like great finds though
