I just got a book deal to create my very first interiors book!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!! Holy crap I can’t believe I’m typing these words! The book is tentatively titled, THE NEW BOHEMIANS–and it will take you into the homes of some of the most creative, out-of-the-box, jungalicious, wild, colorful, spontaneous and inspiring homes in the country and provides DIY projects inspired by the homeowners. Yup! I’m kvelling. I’m thrilled that my publisher is Abrams–they’ve published some of my favorite books like The Selby is in Your Place and Wary Meyers’ Tossed & Found. They totally get me and my vibe and my vision for this book (and not everyone always gets this crazy lady–can you believe that?!?) The publishing deal is world-wide and I CAN NOT WAIT to begin working on the book and share little behind-the-scenes bits with you here on the blog and on Instagram. This most definitely would not have happened without all of your support–your repeat visits here, your kind and sagacious comments, your repins, tweets and ‘likes’ have been the fuel in my zany and zaftig caboose–so thank you. You all are the bomb. For real. No seriously.
This is something that I’ve been working REALLY hard towards and I have to say I’m pretty damn proud of myself and excited about this new chapter–or should I say these new chapters. *Gulps*, *smiles*, *gets up and does booty dance*.
