We painted her old child-hood vanity white. The drapes are from Urban Outfitters. The bedspread is a vintage Suzani found on Etsy.
This amazing gothic crystal lamp was a vintage find. The brass storks can be found easily on Etsy.
The brass tables and pineapple lamp are RoseBowl finds.
I recovered her vanity stool in mud-cloth. The throw pillows are from West Elm.
I found this mid-century dresser on Craigslist. Love the shape of the top of the mirror, yes?
Some details of her bathroom–West Elm shower Curtain, vintage textile art from the Old Brand New shop and vintage jewel box / curio case from Shopclass.
Punched tin and glass mirror found at the Rosebowl.
She already had this neat faux taxidermy, I added the succulent garden.
Found the rug at the Rosebowl, the amazing coffee table was one of my luckiest Craigslist finds EVER.
She had this God Bless America Chair–the Navajo-Print artwork was found at the Rosebowl.
Rug from West Elm. Chair from World Market. Pedestal Table from Tini (This is Not Ikea). Painting found at a thrift shop.
Sometimes, decorating a home can be like going to the gym, or a yoga practice or something–it’s never quite totally ‘finished,’ you keep on layering and adding (and editing and subtracting) and then you live with it for a bit, and then switch it up. That’s how working with Cami has been over the last couple of years. Some months we chill and don’t add much, some months we go nuts and change up a bunch of stuff. But right now, I’m digging the way Cami’s home looks–so while I know that this is a “comma” and not a “period” on this project, I wanted to show you this stage–as I think there are a lot of great ideas here, and I love how her little jewel-box of an apartment looks and feels right now. What’s your favorite element?
Thank you Cami for letting me decorate and share your home. Design + Photos by J. Blakeney
Ive been reaching out to some of my favorite bloggers with heart to raise awareness about baby Leni and the ongoing effort to find a donor here in NYC. Her folks are both designers (graphic/fashion) and have not found a good match for her yet because of her mixed heritage. She will need a bone marrow transplant soon and I myself have registered as a donor. Please help pass this along, we will be spearheading donor drives and are encouraging minorities to participate. Here is more info on sweet baby Leni https://medium.com/p/b35f8fbc87ca
I am speechless, this is so beautiful.

your home is beautiful! I especially love the different textiles you used throughout the space.
The curtains in the first image are amazing. The rest of the space is an inspiration, the mixing of colors with white walls. I love it.
What color and technique did you use for the ceiling? It’s beautiful!
