Happy first birthday to the little lady that has brought an immeasurable amount of joy into my life, taught me so much about the world and about myself, and challenged me in the best ways possible. Ida, your daddy and I are so lucky that you came into our lives. You are, as your dad says, just a really cool person to hang out with–you’re easy going, curious, generous, funny, smart, brave, loving, and super dooper cuddley.
