After her mom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, Tracey had a hard time finding something stylish and comfortable to cover the aftermath of her mom’s cancer treatments, so she started Robin Hoods (named after her mom.) Robin Hoods are beautiful head accessories that look and feel amazing on your head (for women with and without hair hardships). But besides the great cause and thought behind the accessories, the product itself is a breath of fresh air.
It’s tough to find affordable, cute turbans (trust me, I’m kind of an expert)–and turbans are a totally under-appreciated accessory if you ask me. Seriously. If you don’t have one in your life I think it’s time I turban you out–they don’t bite. Also, Robin Hoods contributes product and financial donations to The Chris Elliot Fund that provides support to patients and families of people with brain cancer. I’m feeling so inspired by this project and by women like Tracy that are propelled by personal tragedy to change the world for the fabulous. You go girl.
