The prep for my popup shop at Platform is in full swing! Yesterday I brought over my vintage collections–consisting of textiles, ceramics, paintings, prints, etc… to the beautiful boutique and me and my crew worked with their crew to style the pieces into the space. With five extremely visual people working together in a small space to integrate these 60 pieces, it could have been a total cluster f+ck with way too many cooks in the kitchen, but instead it was pretty much the most seamless install ever–our tastes and mellow vibes compliment each other so well that it was like “BOOM” and…we’re done. There is so much good stuff. It’s too early to be thinking about the Holidays, but the early bird…well, you know how it goes. I can’t wait to see your pretty faces and give you hugs at the opening Saturday!

If I lived in LA, I’d be sleeping out on York Ave right this second a la waiting in line for concert tickets circa 1986- and I would be first in line and first in the door in the morning to nab all that those amazing pieces starting with that glorious textile wall hanging!!!!! AHHH!
