Gosh I love fresh starts! Fresh starts provide opportunities to begin with a clean slate, acknowledge what’s behind, but look ahead with excitement and courage. So what if it’s just a random date, a cultural, familial or personal tradition? Dates that mark the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one help to mark time, evaluate progress, reflect and ultimately, provide an opportunity for celebration and growth. I am still working on getting together all of my goals and aspirations for 2014-but if this year is half as good as 2013 was, I’ll be doing alright.
