I have a window at home that looks out to a concrete wall (boo) so I’m always looking for ways to improve the view. I’ve learned it’s easy to dress up a plain old windowsill with a few quick ideas.
1. Add a quick and colourful handmade paper garland (this one is just circles folded in half over jute and stapled together.) to ad color and charm to your window.
2. I was lucky enough to have found this stained glass window on the side of the road (not the first one I’ve found discarded either!) and decided to hang it in a part of the window that doesn’t open by using four cup hooks and some chandelier chain.
3. The easiest option? Potted plants! Place as many as you can along the ledge of the windowsill.
I, of course, went with a combination of all three of these options. The more the merrier!
