Guys, I have some exciting news. I found a space to call Jungalow HQ! I have been talking about for a long time how badly I need to separate church and state, right? Hell, it was even announced in the New York Times. (hehe). Well, it’s finally happened. It’s a private spot in a loft that’s literally one block away from our house–and since Jason and I share a car, the whole walking-distance-from home situation was a key factor in choosing this spot. We will be hosting Creative Residency Seminars here (and our “Best Bio Boot-camp with Shannon Randall is coming up fast!!) and I am REALLY excited about the idea of leaving work at work and coming home to a jungalow that’s not one big photoshoot/craft project/mess. Not to mention the sheer excitement that comes from getting to design and decorate a big white box. Yay. Follow along on IG as I decorate with the hashtag #JungalowHQ (and of course I’ll post updates here too). I’ve already found some pretty rad stuff on Craigslist. Let’s pop that bubbly! :D And…last thing, do I keep or ditch the pendant that’s already hanging there??

The pendant feels a bit too woodsy for me – I think you can find a super jungalicious pendant. Can’t wait to see the updates!

Congratulations Diva! I say ditch the pendant as is. With all of your jungalicious creativity, you may want to repurpose the pendant, paint it and use it as a waste receptacle or line it with something a make a funky jungalicious planter.
Again, hooray to the separation of work and home life!. A toast to work life balance.

Congrats!! I totally hear you when it comes to living in a constant state of photoshoot/craft project mess. Sweet dreams are made of…….studio spaces. I say ditch the light fixture. It’s too twiggy not jungalow enough ;)

Looks like a nice empty space for you to put your mark on! I think I’m alone in this but I say keep the pendant. I love it and think it will layer in nicely with all of the plants I’m sure you’ll add :)

Like the pendant, but maybe not at center stage? In a corner?
