Last Thursday my editor emailed me to tell me that the book was being sent to press that very day.
Paper, and ink. 304 pages of bright, bold boho goodness–almost two years of pitching and planning, styling and snapping, crafting and creating, writing and waiting. It is so satisfying to think that as I type this the smatterings of color are being blended, the words are rolling over the paper, and my ideas are finally in a committed relationship–the kind that can’t be changed or on a whim with the click of a button.
It’s nerve racking, and satisfying. Here are a few of my favorite shots that did not make the cut. Moroccan pompom blankets, collections of wooden spoons, a patchwork of granada tile, mermaids, Acapulco chairs in the a ROYGB spectrum, a really good pillow pile and one helluva gallery wall. What’s inside the book is even better though–and holy moly I can’t wait until I’m holding all those bound pages together in these hands. Can. not. wait.
