For me, it’s a akin to an actress whose had a few sit-com appearances being given a role in a Quentin Tarantino film. Yes, Modernica is that badass. Modernica works out of a 1929 factory located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. They make everything right here. And everything they make provides the perfect modernist backdrop for all kinds of jungalicious layering.     Hi Justina, I just relocated to Oakland a few months ago. I live in a sun-soaked four-plex in the Lake Merritt neighborhood. I don’t have a big budget but have managed to dye and style some interesting stories throughout the space. I’m a sucker for a houseplant, always trying to bring the outdoors in and soften up my space. There are 4 large potted plants desperate for an interesting planter! I’d love to have the Modernica ceramic cylinder planter to start the collection in my front room that I use as a studio

    This is such an awesome giveaway! I actually have an entire Mod Planters Pinterest board, because I hate boring-ass terra cotta, haha. And while I see LOTS of cool stuff on their site, my very favorite is the cylinder planter with wooden stand.

    I especially like planter stands that can lift a big plant pot to elevate it so it allows for our forced air heating intake/outtake vents to still flow but be visually concealed behind a big lush distracting plant. Tricked ya! :)

    Hi Justina!
    I know the contest is over and you may not see this, but I was actually wondering what the plant is that you have IN the planter!! I got one a few months ago from the flea market and the seller didn’t know what kind of plant it was. Being an admitted plant killer, I’d love to look up how to care for it!!
