It’s no secret what mirrors can do for a space: from making a space feel and look larger, to adding light and a little bit of *bling* to a room, but today I’m here to share hoe I think the right mirror can also function as art. From peacock mirrors toVenetian mirrors, you can add one large statement mirror over a sofa, or include a quirky hand-carved mirror in a gallery wall.
Remove the boring mirror over the sink in the guest bathroom and replace it with a modern, brass porthole mirror–so many possibilities, yes? I have been saving up for a peacock mirror for a while–I will have one in my next home. What kind of mirrors do you love?

I love mirrors and they sure help in a small space to make it look larger. Many are SO expensive. I’d have to save up like you. But yes, they are really works of art these days.

Hi there Justina, I love this post! Do you have any stores that sell mirrors similar to these at a more affordable price? xx
Justina Blakeney says
I know, some of these are crazy expensive, right!? But some are actually really reasonable–like the hand-carved one is under $200 and the portal one is under $80! I think with vintage stuff one always finds the best prices at flea markets or on sites like eBay though :)
