When I think about the fact that Dabito and I took over 40,000 photos (yes FOURTY THOUSAND!!) for the The New Bohemians my head starts to spin. We joked all the time that we could write a whole ‘nother book using just the outtakes from this one.
And if nothing else, we’d often joke, we’ll both have blog content FOR DAYS with all the pictures that didn’t make it in….and how amazing is this orange Moroccan wedding blanket from the Maximal Bohemian Casa de Casual Rainbow??
I love Paige’s Nomadic Bohemian bedroom. I think her love affair with textiles is up there with mine, and I’m so, so jealous of her feather Juju hat!
This cabinet from Erica Tanov‘s Romantic Bohemian home didn’t make it into the book but every square inch of Erica’s home is totally on point. For some peek into some pics that did make it into the book, the King of Color Mr. Will Taylor did a really nice write-up of his favorite aspects of the book over on his blog, Bright Bazaar. So great to view the pics and see the accolades. I loved the hippie bohemian – that’s me, a flower child born in the 1950’s, who still loves Dylan, bare feet and going bra-less. Congrats sister! Eagerly awaiting my copy!
