I have a garland at home that never ceases to get compliments- you might recognise it from this post. Mine was actually a gift from a friend years ago and it is SO simple to make.
1.) Draw circles onto card paper in your desired colors- I use a cup to measure my circles, so they are even.
2.) Cut out the circles.
3.) Fold your circle in half.
4.) Place your string, fishing wire or jute flat along the crease of your folded circle.
5.) Staple together your circle, making sure to seal on the outside of where your string is.
6.) Do this with as many circles in as many colors as you’d like. Think about what colors go together, so you can choose a pretty palette before you get tracing and cutting. I’ve done this same garland in all white before, strung on fishing wire and the result was beautiful.
7.) Hang anywhere in your home that you want to dress up a little: in a window, above a bed, along your mantle or draped outside a crib. It’s also a quick party decor solution you could whip up for your next get-together! Where will you hang yours?

Love the look! This would be even easier if you folded the paper before you trace and cut the circles.

So true Sarah! I guess I like to do things the long way…ha ha. This way it ensures the circles are exactly the same size, but I totally get your point- thanks :)

Such cute garland! Do you recall where that “Bed Peace.” pillowcase is from? It’s adorable too!
Nicole Valentine Don says
Thank you! The Bed Peace pillowcase is from a set of two I found at a Yoko Ono exhibition a couple of years ago in the gift shop. Maybe she sells them online? I love it too!
