The Great Indoors

I’m all about bringing the outdoors in, (hello JUNGALOW!) so when REI asked if I wanted to spend a night ‘camping’ indoors in their evrgrn loft in SanFran I was all about it. Upon arrival at the loft I was greeted with an insane living wall packed to the brim with lush tropicals.  Um, this is my kinda camping. In place of a bed, they had set up their new starry night tent which actually fits a queen sized mattress inside. It also has a totally mesh ‘roof’ so that if I had actually been outdoors, I totally would have totally been stargazing all night :P

I got a chance to hang out with my girl Dana, and meet her little man, Koa. You might remember I designed his nursery last year. It was so fun to camp out together and catch up and chill in the great indoors.

There was also a very sweet patio all decked out with some of the other REI evrgrn products, like this dope and oh-so-portable campfire rocker.

 

         

I had such a great time, definitely made me want to set up camp in my living room and ‘camp’ with the fam. It’s certainly a low-cost way to have a hyper-local adventure. :)
