I’m sure you’ve noticed my love for rugs, especially colorful, patternful rugs like the ones you can find in Turkey. When Gali Rotstein, of Vita Nova, was growing up in London, surrounded by the rugs in her father’s collection and her aunt’s carpet import business, she realized that many of these beautiful rugs would only ever live in museums. Wanting to share the beauty of these designs, she merged her love of antique Turkish rugs with her passion for mosaic and conceived these stunning mosaic rugs!
Each mosaic is based on an antique Turkish rug design, and even the wear and tear of the original carpets is incorporated into the mosaic patterns. I love that the beauty of rugs that many will never even see, lives on in a different medium!

Oh, yeah…the mosiac designs have captured the rugs really well… I have not seen these sort of rugs, they look very colourful and nice artistic aspect to it.
