Maybe it’s because it reminds me of the beautiful Jardin Marjorelle or it might just be the unexpected pop of such a calming color, but whenever I’m out and about and spot something cobalt, it grabs my attention.
I love seeing it in homes too- search ‘cobalt’ on Pinterest and you’ll find pages of inspiring spaces, like the one from Dabito’s cabana challenge project (top) with it’s gorgeous cobalt sofa. You may also recognize Adam’s home (above), from The New Bohemians, which features pops of cobalt mixed in everywhere.
Restaurants are even sporting it- like the most ‘grammed floor in LA, at the Silverlake Intelligentsia.
If you’re looking for an easy way to add a little cobalt into your life, something simple, like this pillow from Cotton & Flax, is a great place to start. Who knows, maybe you’ll get inspired to go all Jardin Majorelle up in your own space?
