New Work: Calypso St. Barth Fall Lookbook

The fall Calypso Maison collection hit stores recently and they asked me to create a lookbook sequel to last years’ Falling into the Sea shoot. This year, we’re calling it Diving into the Fall. All of the soft, rouge colors and fluffy textures in this collection made me wanna bundle up and sip a glass with my girls in some posh pool-side location–so that’s the concept for the shoot…

Picture this. You, me, some other homies. Brazilian Jazz. Wine. Some good gossip. Some good laughs.

…a quick dip in the jacuzzi and then we wrap ourselves up in the softest of cashmere throws, and join our girls lounging around the pool where we continue to catch up…”I can’t believe so-and-so are already getting a divorce…did you hear that so-and-so uses botox?!’ O.K. girls, calm down, that’s enough gossip for today :P

Then, as we head into the evening, we lounge around the fire place, watch the sky change colors until the sun goes down and the candles start to do their thang, emitting a soft glow, making  us all look super tan and amazing :D

Can you see it? Wouldn’t it be nice?? For now, tossing a couple of pillows on the floor and having a living-room picnic with a bestie might be the closest thing I get to this dream…but it’ll happen at some point. Oh yes, it will.
